Terms and Conditions for our Spanish Courses

 
 

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. The minimum age of our students is 14 years old.
  2. No admission fee.
  3. To reserve a place in one of the Delibes courses, you should send your registration by mail, fax, or E-mail to the following address:

  4. With the registration form, you should also send proof of the DEPOSIT payment of 200 Euros in order to guarantee your place.

    This payment will be deducted from your final invoice.

    In case of cancellation of the course, the DEPOSIT will be reimbursed only if we have received a written cancellation 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the course.

  5. The total payment of the course must be made at the school office on the first day of the course.
    However, if you prefer to pay the entire fee from your country in advance, you can do so by following the above mentioned payment instructions (nº 4).
    Under no circumstances will money will be refunded once the course and/or lodging has begun.
  6. COLEGIO DELIBES reserves the right to cancel the registration agreement if the payment is not made as mentioned above. This also applies in case a student does not follow the rules and regulations of the school, or behaves inappropriately in any of our classes or activities.
    The use of alcohol is absolutely forbidden for students under the age of 18 years old
  7. The school does not charge any fees for arrangement of the accommodation.
  8. Students who intend to stay with host families, in student flats, or in the student residence do not need to bring bed linen and blankets, however they should bring towels.
  9. The course fee includes all class material mentioned on the website as well as activities announced in the program without indication of payment.

    During the high season, classes can take place outside the classrooms of the school in other facilities. The students timetables are decided by the school.

    The curriculum has been structured to allow for students to start their course any Monday of the year, except Initial/Beginner (A.1), which starts only on the first Monday of each month. See below for details.

    You will have classes either in the morning from 9:00 to 13:00/14:00 or in the afternoon from 13:00/14:00 to 18:00.

    This will be communicated to you on the first day of your course. Students will not be able to choose which time they prefer.

  11. The examination to obtain a Colegio Delibes Achievement Certificate takes place on the last Thursday of every month. However, a student who does not wish to participate in the examination will receive an Attendance Certificate indicating the details and hours of the respective course. All students are expected to attend classes daily, without any excuses. 
  12. The services contracted by Colegio Delibes are governed by the previous general conditions; complementary and subsidiary to the Common Civil legislation for the letting of services and by the rules of consumer rights, in particular Act 13/2005 Junta de Castilla y León and Act 11/98 of Defense of Consumers and Users.
  13. FRICSA 97 S.L. Is the responsible of the personal details treatment of the clients and these data will be treated according to the Rule (EU) 2016/679, April 27th (GDPR), the Organic Law 3/2018 December 05th (LOPDGDD).
    This treatment will be done only for the execution of the contract and these data will be saved no more time than necessary to keep the end of the contract or if legal prescriptions are required. Data are not allowed to share (except by legal obligation), and if it was necessary the client will be informed. The users can exercise its rights of access, rectification, cancellation, elimination and portability of personal details addressing to FRICSA 97 S.L.
